The Utah Open Source Foundation is dedicated to getting more open technologies into Utah. If you are interested in learning about these technologies or want to work on them, etc., the Utah Open Source Foundation can help. We have four essential points we believe are important with regard to this growth:
Community
The community is the driving force behind many of the UserGroups and development in Open Source. UtahOpenSource is no different here. We do believe, however, that you may desire to exist in many of the available UserGroups, communities, etc. Because of this desire, the CommunityCollective has been created.
Technology
Innovation is important and the UtahOpenSourceFoundation understands this importance. Providing facilities and opportunities for individuals to get together for HackingNights is imperative to this goal. Because of the group effort, open software will rise to the top of the software food chain, this is why we've created the TechnologyCollective.
